Terms of service
Updated Wednesday 14 October
1. General
mimimi is operated by Webshuk. By using it you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.
These terms apply to teachers who open an account and to students who use a booking page or their student area.
2. Teacher accounts
Give accurate details and keep your password safe. Anything done in your account is treated as done by you.
An account is for one teacher and their own teaching.
3. Subscription and payment
New accounts start with a trial. When it ends you can choose a plan on the billing page. Billing is handled by SUMIT, in advance, for each billing period until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, and partial periods are not refunded unless the law requires it.
If a payment fails, the account becomes read-only after a grace period and the booking page closes until payment is settled.
Prices and plan limits (such as students, file storage and SMS) are shown on the billing page and may change with advance notice.
4. Your content and students
Content a teacher uploads (summaries, recordings, files) and their students' details belong to the teacher. We use them only to run the service.
The teacher is responsible for having the right to upload the content, and for having students' consent (or their parents', for minors) to keep their details and message them.
5. Lessons and payments between teacher and student
mimimi is a management tool. Arrangements about lessons, prices, cancellations and payments are between the teacher and the student only. We are not a party to them, do not collect lesson payments, and are not responsible for the lessons.
6. Students
Students sign in with a code sent by SMS to their phone. Do not share the code.
A student who books a lesson agrees to the cancellation and payment rules the teacher set, as shown on the booking page.
7. Prohibited use
Do not use the service to send unsolicited messages, upload illegal or offensive content, try to access other people's data, or disrupt the system.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
8. Availability and liability
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but it is provided as is, without a promise that it will run without interruption or errors.
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount paid to us in the three months before the event, and we are not liable for indirect damage, lost income or missed lessons.
Keep a copy of important information.
9. Closing your account
You can ask to close your account at any time. After it is closed, data is deleted as described in the privacy policy.
10. Changes
If we change these terms, the date at the top of the page changes. We tell teachers about material changes by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. The competent courts in Tel Aviv-Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction.
